Train as a Crisis Counselor
Crisis Text Line volunteers support people through anxiety, depression, self-harm, and moments of real crisis, all over text message. You receive around 30 hours of world-class training before ever taking a conversation, and a supervisor backs you up on every shift. This is a serious commitment of roughly 4 hours a week, and it is one of the most meaningful ways to help that exists.
